Once you have created an event and distributed the event registration link, you may want to customize the contents of the registration notification emails and other emails that ESGR EventPLUS sends to registrants of the event. EventPLUS allows you to customize the content of several event notification emails from the sidebar on the Event Details page. If you choose to customize the registration email, it is recommended that you do so before the registration process begins.

To customize registration notification emails:
Navigate to the Event Details page.
If necessary, display the Event Listing page by hovering over EVENTS on the menu bar, and clicking EVENT LIST. Locate the appropriate event on the Event List page. Click to open the event.
On the Event Details page, click Notifications, and then Customize Email Templates in the drop-down.
From the Customize Email Template page, select the email notification you want to customize from the Notification Email drop-down list.
Select the type of registrant for whom you want to customize the selected notification email. You can customize and save a different notification message for each of the registrant types.
In the box provided at the top, type the custom message you want to include in the email.
Scroll down to the bottom of the PREVIEW section to view your text as it will appear in the message. Note the placeholders for [LastName], [FirstName] and [Family members] will be populated with the appropriate names when the email is sent to the registrant.
To attach a file, click CHOOSE FILES and locate the file on your computer.
Locate the file and click Open to select that file.
Click the SAVE button at the bottom of the page. The message is updated and saved for the selected email notification message and registrant type.
